I gotta say, when it comes to smoking, I swear by my Weber smoker. It definitely took some practice, but man, it’s the most consistent one out there. I’ve given other smokers a shot, but hands down, the Weber is my absolute favorite.

I purchased an electric smoker (Masterbuilt) about 10 years ago. It’s showing some rust on the outside and a few holes on the top now. However, I have to say, it’s super easy to use, cooks up amazing meals, and definitely worth every penny!

I’m a fan of the Pit Barrel Cooker – it’s straightforward, well-crafted, and lives up to its promises. Unfortunately, I accidentally damaged the lid, causing a small bend. This slight gap sometimes disrupts the airflow in an unfavorable manner, and I’ve been unable to locate a replacement lid, which is quite regrettable.

Overall, the Weber Smokey Mountain 14 was the perfect fit, infusing our food with a delicious smoky flavor we enjoyed. The main issue is the need for constant heat monitoring, especially during long overnight cooks when the wood/charcoal levels can drop too low, affecting the cooking process. This is where the Weber Smokey Mountain 14 shines – it’s lightweight enough to easily add more fuel without disturbing the food. The monitoring aspect remains the primary downside.

Thrilled with my Traeger! It has been my trusty partner in grilling this season, outshining my old charcoal grills. As a novice in smoking meat, this grill has made it a breeze, surprising me with flavors beyond my imagination. Impressive how it maintains its cool for a thin metal grill. Hoping it stays by my side for a couple of decades! :)))
